Our Prayer life is the most
important thing we have in our Christian life.
It is our communication line to God.
The Bible gives instructions for us to have an effective prayer life.
Luke
11:9-10 NASB (9) “So
I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock,
and it will be opened to you. (10) "For
everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it
will be opened.
Over the past three weeks, we
have studies how to have an effective prayer life. Week 1, we saw that an effective prayer life
is steadfast. Week 2, we studied that
our prayers should be specific and full of faith. Week 3, we examined how we need to believe
that our father will give us the good things we need. This week let us take a moment to explore His
Holy Spirit.
Everything that has ever happened
to God’s children has come as a byproduct of His Spirit. No one confesses Jesus as Savior except drawn
by His Holy Spirit. We come to
understand the bible through His Holy Spirit.
His Holy Spirit is the Seal of our Salvation. Once we are saved His Holy Spirit dwells within
us. His Holy Spirit gives us our own ministry.
What is the role of the Holy
Spirit in your life?
Think about the word PUSH.
Every time you walk through a door,
you see this word.
How can this word help us in our
pray life?
The word PUSH stands for
(Pray Until Something Happens)
If we are going to have a
successful ministry for him, we must PUSH our prayers all the way to His Throne.
